The world is going through one of the toughest health crises because of the pandemic Covid-19. This has affected human lives and businesses very badly; it has been one of the biggest challenges to scientific community in recent time. While people across globe are adjusting to this health crisis, California fires have returned in its ugliest form to dent human lives and businesses there.

As per California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection about 1.5 million acres of forest area has been burned so far by over 7 thousand fires. These fires are mainly caused by a combination of things such as climate change, difficult wind conditions, and years of fire suppression and lightning storm. We are very concerned by the condition prevailing in the state of California because of wildfires. It is equally threatening for wildlife as well as human lives and their businesses. Already over 100 thousand people have been forced to migrate due to this tragedy. Thousands of houses have been destroyed rendering many homeless. We have empathy with the people suffering, our prayers are with the people of California.

Since our clients and business associates are based near the affected areas, we are equally concerned for their safety and wellbeing. We are educating our employees and clients on the steps to be followed inside and outside home to prepare for a possible evacuation, and safety measures to be taken when returning home after a wildfire. We have been in constant touch with all our stakeholders and we are ready with contingency plans in case of a need for them to move to a safer place. As we commit to ensure uncompromised and uninterrupted services to our clients, our associates in other geographic region have already been kept on standby mode for emergency takeover to ensure smooth functioning of our clients’ businesses. We have backup plans and resources in place to deal with situation like precautionary blackout or if employees must go off work to serve as volunteer emergency responders, and we are confident of maintaining resiliency in our services. We also pray for speedy control over the situation and we wish to see normalcy being back at the earliest.
